The past two days I have had former WO-1 Paul Lund (A/227 July to October 1966, 1st Flight Platoon) here with me in Colorado Springs. It was quite a reunion! Even though we had both aged; he is almost 67 and I am 63, we knew the old facial lines and mannerisms were still there. We talked about all the years that had passed and some of what A/227 was like when he was there before the crash in AnKhe Pass on 10-9-66.

Thanks to TOM JOHNSON for recognizing Paul at VHPA Reunion in San Antonio and exchanging phone info and e-mail. Paul is still astounded that you knew him from the information on the web site. Thanks to Thom Jefferson for starting this â€œreach outâ€ many years ago to me. Special and grateful thanks go to Howard for his being able to post our unit history, pictures, stories, etc.
