The past two days I have had former WO-1 Paul Lund (A/227 July to October 1966, 1st Flight Platoon) here with me in Colorado Springs. It was quite a reunion! Even though we had both aged; he is almost 67 and I am 63, we knew the old facial lines and mannerisms were still there. We talked about all the years that had passed and some of what A/227 was like when he was there before the crash in AnKhe Pass on 10-9-66.

Thanks to TOM JOHNSON for recognizing Paul at VHPA Reunion in San Antonio and exchanging phone info and e-mail. Paul is still astounded that you knew him from the information on the web site. Thanks to Thom Jefferson for starting this “reach out” many years ago to me. Special and grateful thanks go to Howard for his being able to post our unit history, pictures, stories, etc.
